THE SEED BANK

Seeds are the start of life's diversity, and in most vegetables there is a huge potential in growing a volume that is impressive in numbers.

In a single pepper, it can be more than fifty seeds and if you have a germination rate of eighty, you can grow forty pepper plants that yield about three to four fruits each. It gives you approximately one hundred and twenty fruits with a starting point in a single pepper. Can you tell me which bank gives you a dividend like this in addition to being saturated?

This applies to many vegetables or fruits where melon is a similar example in the number of seeds and germination percentage. Tomatoes another. Eggplants as well

Invest your money and dont trow the seeds away. Dry them, or  plant them, and keep them for later, it will always sprout and grow, and in addition make your day brighter

I will show how easy it is done and even if you are not living in a warm country like Greece, you will still have three month of season to grow your things in a small or bigger scale where you are living. Due to climate change its possible to grow and harvest in most places, but you have to start early so you are ready to plant when the seeds has sprouted and the plants are big enough

Another way to make plants germinate and grow is to put the stems of spice plants or others in water as shown here

Remove the lower leaves of the spice plant so  the stalk only have the top shoots left

Put the stems of your plants in a bottle of water and they quickly get root shot. Fill soil in the plastic bottle and insert the spice plant, put the bottles in the windowsill and you will soon have fresh flavor additions to your food

Plants such as flavoring can be easily grown, but it is not from seeds. If you have purchased a basil plant or others, you can grow new plants easily from the one you bought on the supermarket. Remove a stem from the plant you purchased and remove the lower leaves so that only the top shoots are left and put in a plastic bottle with water. The stalk will eventually take root and you can plant it,and put it in the windowsill or outside in a plastic bottle. This way you always have fresh herbs in your cooking more or less all the time
