Who I am

My name is Espen and as you understand I am a wheelchair user with Diabetes two. For the past six months I have been in and out of hospitals for treatment of nerve inflammation with no result. During this period I have experienced a passivity since the functional impairment puts limits on what I can do. But that doesn't mean I can't be creative.

So I want to show that it is possible to grow some of your own food where you live and get a healthier diet almost free. The only thing needed is time, and I have more than enough of that

In addition, I will make delicious dishes of what I grow in a way that surely not many people think about during a busy day

I am concerned about the climate change and the future issues that we are facing. I am sure that the future food we will grow and eat cannot come from the other side of the planet. It's not your plastic shopping bag which is the problem, it's what you put inside, which is the problem.

Start to grow and see what you are able to get

.

This project was one thing I long thought to start, but it has been delayed due to global virus epidemic. It really confirms how important it is to produce and to grow the food closer to where you live, and not least that our children gain insight into how to grow things themselves, and not just buy it in the nearest supermarket. What I show in this project is certainly not always easy to do if you live in an apartment and do not have access to cultivate anything

What you can do, however, is to influence others, which in turn can make it possible to start school projects where children and young people can participate, to see how they can easily grow to make things sprout and grow without ordering it online. And you are welcome to join together with your kids or other
